Season’s greetings from ASN!

Season’s greetings from ASN!

We are sending out this extra eBulletin to wish our amazing supporters, donors, and clients a wonderful holiday season! We wanted to give a great big holiday hug to you all, and our deepest thanks for helping us help so many women and families in need over the year.
In the spirit of the season, and in the spirit of working together to help women, we wanted to take a moment to provide a few options of pro choice places to spend any spare end of year giving dollars, as well as a few pro choice gift ideas. Please note this is a one off and that we’ll be returning to our regular once-per-month eBulletins from next month.

Give the gift of a more level playing field!

Anti-choice groups such as Youth Defence receive thousands in donations which pay for aggressive and often misleading letter drops, billboards and other anti-choice advertisements. This holiday season, why not lend a hand to one of the largely volunteer-run groups campaigning for law reform? Make a donation in your own name, or in lieu of a gift to the feminist in your life.

Send pro-choice greetings to your local politicians!

Send the Irish politician of your choice an X Case Christmas card this Christmas and let your elected officials know that pro-choice people both celebrate Christmas – and vote!

Pro Choice gifts

Supershero “Stop the War on Women” t-shirts, on sale for £16/€20 (including international shipping) raise funds for a network of independent abortion providers in the US.

And of course as always, you are welcome to make a donation or Standing Order in any denomination to Abortion Support Network so that we can continue to help women, together.

“Though my child will have to do without Christmas presents this year, at least the children
of the friend I no longer have to borrow money from will have gifts.
Thank you very, very much.”

Happy holidays from all of us at ASN and here’s to a fabulous 2013!

Abortion Support Network (ASN) is an all-volunteer charity that provides accommodation, financial assistance and confidential, non-judgemental information to women forced to travel from Ireland and pay privately for abortions in England. The cost ranges between £400 and £2000 depending on circumstance and stage of pregnancy. While other organisations campaign for law reform, ASN is the only group on record providing women travelling for abortions with the thing they need most immediately: money.
