Coronavirus update: Abortion Support Network is closely monitoring the rapidly changing situation. As long as borders and clinics remain open, we will help those who are able to safely travel access abortions abroad. We will also provide information on safe abortion pills for home use where appropriate. If you need an abortion, please get in touch and we will help you as much as we are able. Coronavirus is simply YET ANOTHER obstacle faced by people living in countries with inadequate provision of abortion services.

Gift Aid – boost your support even further!

Not sure what Gift Aid is or if you’re eligible? Your questions answered here!

If you are a UK Taxpayer, Abortion Support Network can reclaim 25p for every £1 you donate, at no extra cost to you.

To be eligible, you must pay an amount of Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April one year to 5 April the next) that is at least equal to the amount of tax that Abortion Support Network and any other charities will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year. If this is not the case, you understand that you are responsible for paying any difference between the tax you’ve paid and the Gift Aid claimed on your donation(s).

Please submit the following declaration to enable us to reclaim the tax. Alternatively, if you wish to send this by post, please download our Gift Aid declaration as a PDF. Thank you.

  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

Please notify us on [email protected] if you:

  • wish to cancel this declaration
  • need to change your name or home address
  • no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains.

This transitional relief for the charity does not affect your personal tax position.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher rate, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return if you want to receive the additional tax relief due to you.
