Currently in Andorra abortion is a crime in all cases. It is classified as such in the penal code Article 108.
For this reason, in 2018, the network “Xarxa La Meri” was formed from 4 different groups across Andorra and Barcelona who work for women’s sexual and reproductive rights:
“Get in touch if you get pregnant and you want information on how to get an abortion.
Get in touch if you become pregnant as a result of rape and you don’t know what to do next.
Get in touch if the Andorran government’s women’s services (SIAD) haven’t resolved your issues or haven’t respected your decision.”
